Stranger Danger is a duet that imagines what it would be like if personal space were actually a palpable substance. Encased in separate plastic cylinders, Helland and Linehan craft their eye contact to reveal the unspoken values embedded within awkward social confrontations. With moments that are at times violently raucous and at other times deeply meditative, Helland and Linehan develop a peculiar partnering sensibility that ultimately unites two highly fragmented personalities.
